Growing up in Dayton, Ohio, Wayne won several local art contests while in grade school and studied at the Dayton Art Institute. After college, he entered the business community and his painting became just an occasional hobby. An injury forced his early retirement 11 years ago and he began once again his art passion on a full time basis. Wayne has resided in central Florida for over 25 years and exhibits in 20 juried fine art festivals a year in addition to teaching in his Deltona studio. His paintings have found their way into private and corporate collections all over the United States and Europe. He has been the featured artist in numerous art festival publications in addition to winning several awards and is a member of the Florida Watercolor Society, the Central Florida Watercolor Society and the DeBary Art League. Wayne now holds workshops all over the southeast and is sponsored by Cheap Joe's Art Stuff in Boone, NC. His workshop schedule will be posted shortly.
